Basics

A character's second profession is available at level 40 and requires completing the chain of 3 quests specific to the profession. Quests necessary to obtain a profession Phantom Summoner:

• Quest Trial of the Scholar
• Quest Testimony of Fate
• Quest Test of the Summoner

On Masterwork, all quests are available from the character's level 35.

This article is a Guide/Manual for completing 3 quests for the Phantom Summoner profession together. After completing the quests, you will receive the items needed to change the profession. The full list of rewards for completing quests:

Quest guide

1. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Galatea High Summoner in the Magic Shop and talk to her.

Galatea will give Galatea's Letter NG

2. Teleport to Giran. Find Kaira Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Kaira will give Kaira's Letter NG

3. Head to the Temple of Giran. Go around the building, find Metheus Brother and talk to him.

Metheus will give Metheus's Funeral Jar NG

4.1. Teleport to Dion. Find Mirien Magister in the Temple and talk to her.

Mirien will give Mirien's 1st Sigil NG

4.2. Talk to Sylvain High Priest in the same Temple, he will give:

5. Head to Dion's Grocery Store. Find Maria there and talk to her.

Maria will give Maria's 1st Letter NG

6. Head to the southern gate of Dion. Find Lucas Captain there and talk to him.

Lucas will give Lucas's Letter NG

At Masterwork you can talk to Lucas in the city center.

7. Return to Maria and talk to her.

Maria will give Maria's 2nd Letter NG

8. Exit the city of Dion through the eastern gate. Head along the road to the east the Execution Grounds (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Hangman Tree Lv. 35

Until you get Kasandra's Remains NG

9. Teleport to Dion, exit the city through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village (Club Card holders can teleport to the village). Find Creta Astrologer behind the village Warehouse and talk to her.

Creta will give Creta's 1st Letter NG

10. Return to Maria and talk to her.

Maria will give Lucilla's Handbag NG

11. Return to Creta Astrologer and talk to her.

Creta will give Creta's Painting1 NG

12. Go back to Maria again and talk to her.

Maria will give Creta's Painting2 NG

13. Head to the southern gate of Dion. Find Lucas Captain there and talk to him.

Lucas will give Creta's Painting3 NG

14. Go back to Maria again and talk to her.

15. Head to Dion's Grocery Store. Find Lara Grocer and talk to her.

Lara will give one random list. Delete the item in your quest inventory and talk to Lara again, until you get Lara's 1st List NG

16. This stage of the quest depends on the previously received list.

Lara will give 2 Beginner's Arcana NG

17. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

18. Teleport to Dion. Find Maria in the Grocery Store and talk to her.

Maria will give Crystal of Purity NG

19.1. Head to the Temple of Dion. Find Sylvain High Priest and talk to him.

Sylvain will give Symbol of Sylvain NG

19.2. Talk to Mirien Magister in the same Temple.

Mirien will give Mirien's 2nd Sigil NG

20. Teleport from Dion to Bee Hive. Head towards Hive Fortress. Find Camoniell Summoner near the house and talk to her.

After the conversation, a battle of summoned servants will begin. Make sure you have summoned your servant and prepared it for battle.

Attack Racer the Unicorn Quest Monster Lv. 38 with your Servant. Your character must not participate in the battle!

After winning talk to Camoniell. She will give Camoniell's Arcana NG

21. Teleport to Giran. Find Jurek Grand Magister in the Mages Guild and talk to him.

Jurek will give:

Grand Magister's Sigil NG
Jurek's List NG

22. Head to the Temple of Giran. Go around the building, find Metheus Brother and talk to him.

Metheus will give Herbalism Textbook NG

Talk to him again, the dialogue must be carried out twice.

23. Teleport from Giran to Dragon Valley. Go deep into the location. Find and kill monsters:

Shackle Lv. 45

Until you get 2 Shackle's Scalp NG

24. Teleport to Giran, then to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Shaman Lv. 34

Until you get 5 Shaman's Necklace NG

Several monsters are located east of the teleport point, others are on the northwestern hill.

25. Teleport to Dion. Find Ixia Master in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Ixia will give Ixia's List NG

26. Teleport from Dion to Cruma Tower. Instead going inside, head northeast. Find and kill monsters:

Marsh Spider Lv. 34
Marsh Stakato Soldier Lv. 33

Until you get:

Marsh Spider's Fluids NG x 10
Nightshade Root NG x 10

Quest items drop from all Marsh Stakato monsters in the Cruma Marshlands.

27. Head to the southeast of the Cruma Marshlands. Find Belthus Summoner under one of the steles and talk to him.

After the conversation, a battle of summoned servants will begin. Make sure you have summoned your servant and prepared it for battle.

Attack Shadow Turen Quest Monster Lv. 39 with your servant. Your character must not participate in the battle!

After winning, talk to Belthus. He will give Belthus's Arcana NG

28. Teleport to Dion, then to Plains of Dion. Find and kill monsters:

Until you get 5 Monster Eye Destroyer's Skin NG

29. Teleport to Giran. Find Jurek Grand Magister in the Mages Guild and talk to him.

Jurek will give Symbol of Jurek NG

30. Teleport to Dion. Find Mirien Magister in the Temple and talk to her.

Mirien will give Mirien's 3rd Sigil NG

31. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Cronos Elder in the main square and talk to him.

32. Teleport to Giran. Find Dieter Magister in the Mages Guild and talk to him.

33. Teleport to Dion. Exit the city through the southern gate and head south along the road to Floran Village. Find Creta Astrologer behind the Warehouse and talk to her.

34. Return to Dieter Magister and talk to him.

35. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Edroc Armor Merchant in the Weapon Shop and talk to him.

37. Head to Gludin Harbor. Find Triff Drunkard and talk to him.

38. Teleport to Giran. Find Valkon Warehouse Keeper in the Warehouse and talk to him.

39. Teleport to Dion. Find Maria in the Grocery Store and talk to her.

Maria will give Crystal of Purity NG

40. Return to Valkon Warehouse Keeper and talk to him.

41. Teleport from Giran to Hardin's Academy. Find and kill monsters:

42. Teleport to Dion. Find Poitan Blacksmith in the Blacksmith Shop and talk to him.

Poitan will give Poitan's Notes NG

43. Teleport to Gludin Village, then to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Head west, find Basilla Summoner near the house and talk to her.

After the conversation, a battle of summoned servants will begin. Make sure you have summoned your servant and prepared it for battle.

Attack Mimi the Cat Quest Monster Lv. 39 with your servant. Your character must not participate in the battle!

After winning, talk to Basilla. She will give Basillia's Arcana NG

44. Return to the teleport point to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Head inside the location. Go north, among the cliffs find Casian Elder and talk to him.

Casian will give Casian's List NG

45. Head to the center of the Wastelands. Find and kill monsters:

Until you get 10 Tyrant's Blood NG

46. Teleport to Giran, exit the city through the eastern gate. Cross the bridge, follow the road northeast to the Gorgon Flower Garden (Club Card holders can teleport to the location). Find and kill monsters:

Until you get:

Medusa's Blood NG x 12

47. In the Gorgon Flower Garden find Brynthea Summoner and talk to her.

After the conversation, a battle of summoned servants will begin. Make sure you have summoned your servant and prepared it for battle.

Attack Silhouette Tilfo Quest Monster Lv. 40 with your servant. Your character must not participate in the battle!

After winning, talk to Brynthea, she will give Brynthea's Arcana NG

48. Teleport to Dion, exit the city through the eastern gate. Follow the road to the east to the Execution Grounds. Find and kill monsters:

Until you get:

49. Teleport to Dion. Find Ixia Master in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Ixia will give Belladonna NG

50. Teleport to Giran. Find Metheus Brother behind the Temple building and talk to him.

Metheus will give Alder's Skull NG

51.1. Head to the Dark Elf Guild of Giran. Find Kaira Magister and talk to her.

Kaira will give Alders Skull NG

51.2. After talking to Kaira, the ghost Alders Spirit will appear nearby. Talk to him.

52. Head to the Giran Mages Guild. Find Roa Magister and talk to her.

Roa will give Alder's Receipt NG

53. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Norman Warehouse Keeper in the Warehouse building and talk to him.

Norman will give Revelations Manuscript NG

54. Teleport to Giran. Find Kaira Magister in the Dark Elf Guild and talk to her.

Kaira will give Kaira's Recommendation NG

55. Teleport to Talking Island Village, then to the Singing Waterfall. Head north along the coast. Find Almors Summoner near the houses and talk to him.

After the conversation, a battle of summoned servants will begin. Make sure you have summoned your servant and prepared it for battle.

Attack Pako the Cat Quest Monster Lv. 38 with your servant. Your character must not participate in the battle!

After winning talk to Almors. He will give Almors's Arcana NG

56. Teleport to Elven Village, then to Elven Fortress. Head south along the road. Turn right at the fork and head west. Find Celestiel Summoner by the road and talk to him.

After the conversation, a battle of summoned servants will begin. Make sure you have summoned your servant and prepared it for battle.

Attack Unicorn Phantasm Quest Monster Lv. 40 with your servant. Your character must not participate in the battle!

After winning, talk to Celestiel. He will give Celestiel's Arcana NG

57. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give:

Palus Charm NG
Thifiell's Letter NG

58.1. Teleport from Dark Elf Village to Spider Nest. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Arkenia Witch and talk to her.

Arkenia will give Arkenia's Note NG

58.2. In the vicinity of the Altar of Rites find two NPCs and talk to them:

Bloody Pixy , she will give Pixy Garnet NG
Blight Treant , he will give Blight Treant Seed NG

The Bloody Pixy and Blight Treant also inhabit other places in the Dark Elf lands.

59. Teleport to Giran, then to Breka's Stronghold. Find and kill monsters:

Breka Orc Overlord Lv. 35

Until you get 10 Breka Overlord Skull NG

Several monsters are located east of the teleport point, others are on the northwestern hill.

60. Teleport to Giran, then to Hardin's Academy. Find and kill monsters:

The next location can be reached on foot through a tunnel in the mountain west of Hunters' Village.

62. Teleport to Oren, then to Plains of the Lizardmen. Find and kill monsters:

Until you get 10 Leto Overlord Skull NG

63. Teleport to Oren, then to the Ivory Tower. Go down into the crater. Find and kill monsters:

Enchanted Gargoyle Lv. 44

Until you get 5 Enchanted Gargoyle's Nail NG

64. Teleport to Gludin Village. Find Galatea High Summoner in the Magic Shop and talk to her.

Galatea will give Mark of Summoner NG

65. Teleport from Gludin Village to the southern entrance to the Wasteland. Go north, among the cliffs find Casian Elder and talk to him.

Casian will give Scripture Chapter 4 NG

66. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Bloody Swampland. Find and kill the monster:

Black Willow Lurker Quest Monster Lv. 39

From the killed monster you get Black Willow Leaf NG

67.1. Teleport to Dark Elf Village, then to Spider Nest. Gead to the Altar of Rites. Find two NPCs around the Altar and talk to them:

Bloody Pixy , she will give Red Fairy Dust NG
Blight Treant , he will give Blight Treant Sap NG

The Bloody Pixy and Blight Treant also inhabit other places in the Dark Elf lands.

67.2. Head to the Altar of Rites. Find Arkenia Witch and talk to her.

Arkenia will give Arkenia's Letter NG

68. Teleport to Dark Elf Village. Find Thifiell Tetrarch in the Temple and talk to him.

Thifiell will give Mark of Fate NG

69. Teleport to Hunter's Village. Find Cronos Elder in the main square and talk to him.

Cronos will give Symbol of Cronos NG

70. Teleport to Dion. Find Mirien Magister in the Temple and talk to her.

Mirien will give Mark of Scholar NG

71. To change your profession, talk to Angus Grand Master in the Dark Elf Guild of Giran.
